Research on the Problem of Poverty in Rural Areas in Western China During the Social Transition

The rural economy and rural society in rural areas in western China has been completely changed under the deeper development of the reform and opening up as well as the west development strategy. However,the problem of poverty in rural areas in western China becomes daily serious when how to help the people out of poverty is being attended in the whole society. Causes of poverty there with characteristics of the times are complex so that overall considerations must be needed when to solve the problem of poverty.
