Therapeutic Effects of Two Endoscopic Surgical Treatments for Non-invasive Fungal Maxillary Sinusitis:A Clinical Observation

Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of two endoscopic surgical treatments for non-invasive fungal maxillary sinusitis.Methods Sixty cases of non-invasive fungal maxillary sinusitis were randomly divided into two groups: A group of 32 cases,the maxillary natural ostiums were enlarged with endoscopic sinus surgery,B group of 28 cases,the maxillary natural ostiums were enlarged with endoscopic sinus surgery jointly fenestration of inferior meatus.Results All patients were followed up for 6 months to 2 years,A group of 30 cases were cured,the cure rate 93.8%,B group of 27 cases were cured,the cure rate was 96.4%.with there was no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The endoscopic sinus surgery is an effective treatment for non-invasive fungal maxillary sinusitis,be sure to completely clear all fungal clumps,if necessary,jointly fenestration of inferior meatus.
