On Tang Chien's Educational Practice and Thought

Tang Chien,a famous Neo-Confucianist in later Qing Dynasty attached great importance to culture and education in his life and was engaged in educational practice and formed rich educational thought.He set up community-run schools charging no tuition and gave lectures in academy of classic learning and concluded contracts for them.He thought the aim of education was cultivating persons of ability of Jing-Shi and making good atmosphere of society shape up.There's much argumentation on student and educator which was worth studying and using for reference.
