Abstract
Objective To study the dynamic changes of Von Willebrand factor (vWF) and granule membrane protein-140 (GMP-140) in the patients with different pulmonary thromboembolism(PTE). Methods 48 patients with PTE(15 massive, 21 submassive, 12 non-massive) and 20 healthy adults were studied. GMP-140 expressed on platelets and plasma vWF,D-dimer were measured. Results GMP-140 expressed on platelets and plasma vWF,D-dimer in the massive, submassive and non-massive were obviously higher than those in the normal group(all P0.01). The levels of GMP-140, vWF and D-dimer in the massive were higher than those in the sub- and non-massive groups (P0.01), and the levels were higher in the submassive group than those in the non-massive group (P0.01). Conclusion GMP-140 and vWF have close relationship to the occurrence and progress of PTE.
