On the Literature Spirit of Yuan Dynasty and its Reflection in the Literary Works

Abstract

The coming-into-being and development of the literary features of Yuan Dynasty mainly resulted from historical reasons,the influence of Confucianism and Taoism,and the natural environment,which prepared for not only its basic literary background,but also the definite differences between its former and latter period,the north and south school.This article tries to interpret the literature spirit of Yuan Dynasty and its reflection in certain works in the historical and ideological context so as to restore it briefly.
