Control study on the topical application of Nitroglycerin and Nifedipine in the treatment of anal fissure

Abstract

Objective:To compare the efficacy of topical application of Nitroglycerin and Nifedipine in the treatment of anal fissure.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,the treatment group with Nifedipine Ointment,the control group with Nitroglycerin Ointment,after treatment,the pain disappearance time,gap healing time and two sets of side effects rate,the recurrence rate after cure in 6 months were observed.Results:After treatment,the pain disappearance time,gap healing time of treatment group was the shortest between two groups,there was significant difference(P0.05).The incidence of side effects of treatment group was 20.00%,and that of control group was 51.67%,there was significant difference between two groups(P0.05).The recurrence rate of treatment group was 29.41%,and that of control group was 32.00%,there was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:The clinical effect of Nifedipine in the treatment of anal fissure is better than Nitroglycerin.
