Abstract

Forage germplasm resources is the important genetic base for grass breeding.The actuality,potentiality,character and application of forage germplasm resources in Sichuan province are reported in the present paper.According to the problem about all these germplasm resources,suggestion and breeding plan were put forward for the aim of better using and protection.The development and application of forage genetic resources in breeding is very important and practical for returning the farmland to grassland.
