Abstract
Based on simulative experiments, the paper studies the change pattern with time of gas production properties of bioreactor landfill. The study is conducted by way of different operational modes, i.e. diffirent leachate recirculation rate, heating before leachate recirculation and inoculating anaerobic sludge. The simulative experiments showed that heating before leachate recirculation and inoculating anaerobic sludge can both speed up gas production, while lower leachate recirculation rate helps the bioreactor landfill reach the stage of methane production quickly but fails to facilitate the landfill's final stabilization.
