Research on SNMP network management system based on mobile agent

Contrasted with traditional static agent,mobile agent can move freely among the network equipments.It collects data and manages them at local equipments,which simplifies the communication between manager and agent.And the manager can manage network more efficiently with less management flow traffic and shorter response time.This paper firstly analyzes the construction and implementation of SNMP network management system based on mobile agent.Then it contrasts traditional network management with network management based on mobile agent in the matter of communication between manager and agent.Finally,the experiment determines the performance of each network management.The results show that the network management based on mobile performs is more efficient.
