Clinical report on orthokeratology for myopic anisometropia

Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the effectiveness of orthokeratology on the reduction of myopicanisometropia.Methods:169 eyes of 87 myopic anisometropes were corrected with Ortho K lenses.Results:After treatment,myopia and astigmatism decreased and the visual acuity of the 169 eyes showed obvious improvement. The effective improvement rate was 97.04%.Conclusion:Orthokeratology appears to be a preferred treatment for correction of myopic anisometropia.
