Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the effect of Weianning granules medicinal serum on the proliferation and apoptosis in human gastric cancer MGC-803 cells.[Methods]MGC-803 cells were cultured with or without Weianning granules medicinal serum for 12 hours,24 hours and 48 hours. The proliferation of MGC-803 cells was determined with MTT;and the apoptosis was measured with flow cytometry.[Results]Weianning granules medicinal serum significantly inhibited the proliferation, and increased the apoptotic rates of MGC-803 cells in a concentration-dependent manner;and the apoptosis of MGC-803 cells were mainly at early stage.[Conclusion]Weianning granules could inhibit MGC-803 cells proliferation and induce MGC-803 cells apoptosis at early stage.
