Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of Adinbitor on the cell proliferation and apoptosis of human gastric carcinoma cell line MGC803.Methods MTT colorimetric assay was taken to analyze the proliferation of Adinbitor-treated MGC803 cells. The morphological changes of MGC803 cell apoptosis induced by Adinbitor were detected by inverted phase contrast microscope,HE and Hoechst staining. Results Adinbitor could dose-dependently inhibit the proliferation of MGC803 cells, and ID50 was 3.52 μmol/L.Adinbitor-treated MGC 803 cells appeared typical morphological characteristics of apoptosis with the increase of Adinbitor including plasmodesmus disappearance, cell contraction, small vacuoles and so on.Conclusion Adinbitor can inhibit the proliferation of MGC 803 cells probably by the induction of carcinoma cells apoptosis.
