Abstract
To separate alkaloids from the cortex of Phellodendron chinense Schneid. using high speed countercurrent chromatography . High speed countercurrent chromatography using chloroform methanol∶0.2 mol/l dilute hydrochloric acid (2∶1∶1) as solvent system, stationary phase:upper phase, mobile phase:lower phase, flow-rate 2.0 ml/min,revolution speed: 800 r/min. sample size:200 mg. 20.4 mg Palmatine(fraction Ⅰ) and 64.8 mg Berberine(fraction Ⅱ) were separated and determined by HPLC which fraction Ⅰ and Ⅱ were in 99% pure and identified by IR、()~1H-NMR and MS. High speed countercurrent chromatography can separate alkaloids from the cortex of Phellodendron chinense Schneid. quickly.
