In the era of globalization, western cultural hegemony has become an increasingly striking problem affecting international relations. The western countries infiltrate the other countries with their cultural value in the way of taking the media hegemony as their technological basis and the discourse as the basic method. They try to realize the goal of their own cultural hegemony by advocating such theories as racial superiority, culture-supreme and civilization conflict. Knowing the basic operating form and theoretical basis of the western cultural hegemony, we should uphold our own cultural sovereignty more conscientiously.
