Abstract
Moral quality,personality,temperament and thought all contribute to the unique artistic spirit in Ouyang Xiu's prose.Firstly,it is represented in his pioneer spirit to regard it as his own duty to manage the country;secondly,it is represented in his critical spirit to abhor evils as deadly foes;and thirdly,in his literature innovation spirit.All these make him a master scholar of all generations.
