Abstract

The optimal parameters for V2O5 extraction from stone coal with the technology of roasting-sulfuric acid leaching is investigated by orthogonal experiments. The results show that the leaching process is significantly influenced by the concentration of sulfuric acid, the leaching rate is remarkably increased with the increase of the concentration of sulfuric acid. And the leaching process is also significantly influenced by the roasting temperature, and the appropriate roasting temperature is 800℃.The leaching rate is affected by the roasting time and leaching time in some extent, but much less than that of the concentration of sulfuric acid and the roasting temperature. The optimal condition of vanadium extraction from the stone coal is concentration of sulfuric acid 20%,roasting temperature 800℃,roasting time 2h,leaching time 2h,and leaching temperature 90℃.
