Abstract
【Objective】The aim of the study focuses on selecting high efficiency and low toxicity insecticides to provide scientific basis for the safety control of Bemisia tabaci MEAM1 Cryptic species and preventingand controling tomato yellow leaf curl virus disease transmitted by Bemisia tabaci. 【Methods】The control effects of 5 environmental-friendly insecticides against Bemisia tabaci MEAM1 Cryptic species were evaluated in field using foliar spraying. 【Result】All tested insecticides,60 g /L spinetoram WG,Pymetrozine 50%WDG,thiamethoxam 30% WG,acetamiprid 5% WP,sulfoxaflor 50% WDG,showed high effect against Bemisia tabaci MEAM1 Cryptic species at 7 d;The control effect was 96%,94%,93%,93%,and 92%,respectively. 14 days after application, the control effect sharply decreased to 50%.【Conclusion】This 5 insecticides could be recommended to control Bemisia tabaci for tomato production in greenhouses. In the comparison of the toxicity and rapid control effect,60 g /L spinetoram WG and Pymetrozine 50% WDG were considered the best options, however, the application was limited in no more than two times in each growing season to delay the resistance of Bemisia tabaci.
