Effect of Nursing Intervention on Efficacy of Middle-aged and Elderly Patients with Hypertension

Abstract
[Objective]To study of effect of nursing intervention on efficacy of middle-aged and elderly patients with hypertension. [Methods]228 hypertension patients were randomly divided into the intervention group and the control group.The control group was given oral medicine in clinic according to medical order,without other drugs.The intervention group was given comprehensive nursing intervention on the basis of oral medicine.The level of blood pressure of patients in two groups was measured once a week,and the therapeutic effect was summarized after two years. [Results]There was significant difference in effective rate between the intervention group and the control group(χ2=19.039,P0.01).The incidence of complication of heart,brain and kidney in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P0.01).There was significant difference in disability rate between two groups(P0.05). [Conclusion]The nursing intervention can increase the awareness rate of correct knowledge about hypertension among hypertension patients,enhance the health consciousness,gradually establish healthy behaviors,change unhealthy life style,enhance the medication compliance,and significantly improve the efficacy and prognosis of hypertension.
