Abstract
The pilot experiments have been done to discover the impacts of water deficit and fertilization in various levels on the yield of winter wheat in its different growing stages in the south of Shanxi Province. The research findings indicate that the evapotranspiration of winter wheat rises with the increasing amount of irrigation, and the corresponding yields are also improved remarkably. The winter wheat yield and total water consumption are in a quadratic parabolic curve. The same amount of irrigation water with different amount of fertilization would pose less impacts on water evapotranspiration, and if the level of fertilization and irrigation are the same, the different irrigation times would result in the different yields of winter wheat significantly.
