On China's Imperial Examinations and the Social Stability from the Perspective of Political Science

Abstract
From the perspective of political science,the author aims to study the relationship between China's imperial examinations and its social stability and centers on the political functions of China's imperial examinations in the long history of China's feudal society.It is concluded that the nature of the imperial examinations was a political system in the form of a national examination,through which the rulers realized the control of the country and the stability of the society.Because it could meet the needs of China's feudal bureaucrats,it became an important political means for the rulers of feudal China to consolidate their control and maintain their political stability and order.
