Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical effects and influence of survivalrat on patients with acute renal failure after trauma by continuous venonvenous hemofiltration(CVVH). Methods: The clinical data of 5 patients admitted with acute renal failure after severe trauma undergoing CVVH in our hospital from 2000 were and analysed. Results: 3 patients underwent CVVH for 24 hour ,with stable life index , decrease of BUN, Scr, CO 2CP(P0.05), and entered the period of polyuria after 87 to 240 hours . 2 patients died from severe trauma or respiratory failure .There were no complications such as lower body temperature and hypotension during the therapy . Conclusion: The treatment with CVVH on patients with ARF after trauma might be helpful to stabilize milieu interne , eliminate the waste , regulate the balance of water , electrolyte , acidity and alkali , This therapy can ally clinical symptoms , save life and increase survival rate beside bed to patients who can't be moved.
