Abstract
This article states firstly reasons and features of higher embankment in highway,and then introduces designing idea of lower embankment as well as it's advantages.At last it explains the designing methods of lower embankment from following aspects: engineering geology,lineshape index,lateral pass equipment,and extends application of lower embankment.
