Application of reading high-level professional articles in teaching of professional basic course

Professional basic courses are given between the basic courses and professional courses in higher education of Chinese colleges,which play a bridge role.Professional basic courses are important for enhancing the culturing quality of undergraduates and training the innovative persons.But the traditional teaching method of professional basic course place emphasis on giving the detailed lecture to students,which results that the students do not like to think deeply.For constantly promoting the teaching level,we tried to introduce the reading of high-level professional articles into the teaching of animal genetics course.This article's purpose is to introduce this experiment and its effects.
