Sport or Elite? Inquiry on the Concept of Sport in China

Sport being defined as elite sport is a conceptual error in Chinese sport theoretical framework for a long time.This conceptual replacement not only leads to misunderstanding about sports so that sports cannot function normally but also brought various practical problems in sport development of China.It make sports have no reason to access to school education,Chinese youth lose their uniqueness of sport participation.It also undermines the foundation of elite sport in China and makes it difficulty to set up organizational interrelationships among school sport,mass sport and elite sport.
