Abstract
Objective:To investigate the placental transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) mRNA in normal pregnancies and patients with preeclampsia and to study their clinical significance.Methods:RT-PCR was used to measure levels of placental TGF-β1 mRNA in 45 normal late pregnant women and 56 patients with preeclampsia(21 mild preeclampsia,35 severe preeclampsia). Results: The levels of TGF-β1 of placenta in mild and severe preeclampsia were 0.752±0.133,1.016±0.346 respectively. There were all obviously significant than normal pregnant group 0.384±0.098(P0.01).There was all obviously significant in mild preeclampsia than severe preeclampsia(P0.01).TNF-α mRNA and TGF-β1 mRNA levels of placenta in preeclampsia obviously correlated with the levels of SBP,DBP,MAP,proteinuria, the weight of newborn and placenta weight.Conclusion:1.The results suggests that the levels of TNF-α mRNA and TGF-β1 mRNA in placenta are all gradually increased in preeclampsia, which was not changed in pregnant hypertension.2.The levels of TNF-α mRNA and TGF-β1 mRNA of placenta obviously correlated with devepement of fetus.
