Abstract
Parashorea chinensis Wang Hsie seeds with vivipary were extracted by different solvent extractions, and the effects of different solvent extraction of P.chinensis seeds on seed germination and early seedling growth of Brassica campestris L.ssp.chinensis(L.) Mak.were studied through biological assay method. The results indicated that there was obvious inhibitory effect of all crude extracts on the germination and growth of B.campestris ssp.chinensis, and the inhibitory effect became stronger as the concentration of extraction solution increased. The inhibitory activity on germination and growth of B.campestris ssp.chinensis differed with different solvent. The crude extracts from ether showed the strongest inhibitory activity;while other extracts also had inhibitory effect. The inhibitory activity of different solvent extractions ranked from strong to week as ether, water, alcohol, carbinol, acetone.
