Abstract

Network simulation is a new technology ofnetwork plan,design andanalysis,whichverify the validity of the practical scheme and compare multiple different networkdesign schemes.So in thenetworkplan and design,the credible quantificationalbasis is provided.Aimed at the key-point of the network simulation— — traffic simulation and modeling,the traffic simulation and modeling mechanism based on theOPNET are introduced,and the model about FTP traffic in network simulation is researched.Finally,the simulation model is validated on the OPNET network simulation software.
