Abstract

Objective To demonstrate the diagnostic value of molecular markers in disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome(DIC).Methods Plasma samples from 20 patients with DIC(DIC group)and 10 normal controls(control group)were examinated for O-dimer and FDP level .Results The results showed that the plasma levels of the three groups were 2 199.12± 2 140.90 ,389.804±173.58,182.57±107,10(ng/m1)in D-dimer and the active rates were 0.20%,94.4%in FDP respectively. The plasma concentrations of the two molecular markers in DIC group were much higher than those in suspected DIC group or control group. In contrast, there were no significant differences between suspected DIC group and normal controls. The results also showed that 3 of 5 suspected DIC cases which had higher plasma levels of D-dimer and FDP were DIC patients when observed dyanamically. Conclusion The indexes of D-dimer and FDP are sensitive. It is helpful to diagnose DIC during early stage by examining the two markers.
