Abstract

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of acupuncture on post-stroke dysphagia.Methods Sixty patients with post-stroke dysphagia were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups,30 cases each.The treatment group received acupuncture plus vocaSTIM?-Master therapy and the control group,vocaSTIM?-Master therapy alone.Results Post-stroke dysphagia was improved in both treatment and control groups,but the clinical therapeutic effect was better in the treatment group than in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture plus vocaSTIM?-Master therapy is more helpful in restoring the function in patients with post-stroke dysphagia.
