Abstract
A method for simultaneous determination of rare earth elements in peach bought in market by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry( ICP- MS) was proposed. Sixteen rare earth elements in peach sampes were determined with nitric acid- hydrofluoric acid- hydrogen peroxide by microwave digestion. The detection limits were between 0. 004 ~ 0. 020 μg·g- 1. The precision of the method and the recovery were in the range of 0. 78% ~ 2. 96%( RSD) and 95. 0% ~ 106. 0%,respectively. The proposed method has been used in the investigation of rare earth elements distribution in peaches and the results showed that the concentration of rare earth elements in peach skin was significantly higher than that in peach pulp. The method was rapid, accurate which could be used for the determination of rare earth elements in peaches and other fruits.
