Abstract
After the first sewageblocking project was finished and ran, nonpoint source pollution in Suzhou creek is more serious. Therefore, study on the type, characteristics and polluting process of nonpoint source pollution in Suzhou creek and drawing up strategies has gradually become a main aspect to solve the pollution problem of Suzhou creek. The main types of nonpoint source pollution in Suzhou creek are: agricultural nonpoint pollution, excretion of animal husbandry, surface runoff in the town and rural areas, second pollution from river sediment, pollution caused by shipping and dock working, etc.It is pointed that nonpoint source pollution in suburban Suzhou creek is serious and the nonpoint source pollution load in the affluent is high. The corresponding strategies have been proposed.
