A Study of the Theory of Aesthetic Criteria about Elegance and Popularity in the Contemporary Art ——A consultation with the writer Mr Wang Jinzhong on "artistic discussion of the elegance and popularity in the appreciating vision"

The present paper has discussed whether the classification on the popular art and elegant art is reasonable;whether the content and the form are the two indispensable elements supporting every art;and whether appreciators can be divided into two main social groups.Based on the above three points,the present writer raises a different view on Artistic Discussion of the Elegance and Popularity in the Appreciating Vision.Part Four focuses on the new aesthetic appreciating criteria-a suggestion of both the refined and the popular tastes and whether it can be the highest taste for aesthetics in the contemporary art.
