Mediating Income Gap by the Government:Defect and Advice

The widening income gap among regions,urban and rural areas and trades which is reflected by the ever-increasing Gini coefficient has become an important factor affecting the harmony of society.This issue, standing out in the social development,is not just a simple problem of economy but a problem which relates exten- sively to political stabilization,social harmony and civilization progress.Now our country has entered into a period with the crisis of big income gap of residents.As the principal part of public management,the government of our country lacks effective activities.The government must adopt active measures,take on the responsibilities to narrow the income gap of residents and promote distribution justice.
