In this article, the author attempts to analyze the current situation and problems facing china's community development based on recalling the evolving process of china's community work, and analyze simply the necessity of china's professional community social work from two facets--professional development of social work and the construction and development of community, and raise reference suggestions on developing community work vocational education vigorously, improving the posts setting and salary system, raising professional reputation, perfecting social work professional qualification certification system, upgrading the status of community welfare service, paying great attention to rural community work development, choosing a community work specialization road suitable for china's development for realizing the specialization of community social work.
