The obvious effect of criminal law in environment protection has made most countries in the world pay great attention to the legislation of environmental criminal law.The offence of ruin the environment and resources was settled specially in Chinese Criminal Code,Chapter 6,Section 6,which reflects the leap development of environmental criminal law.However,facing the severe environmental problem and high rate of environmental crimes,we should set forth a principle that provides direct protection for the environmental legal interest.Through improving the criminal legal system,defining the standard of consummated environmental crime scientifically,perfecting the classification of offence,and reconstructing the system of environmental criminal liability,we could make full use of environmental criminal law.
