The Analysis of Changsha Dialect as A Transitional Dialect——Take Changsha Dialect Question Modal Word as An Example

Abstract
Changsha Dialect is the most typical dialect in Hunan Province.With the transformation of society,history,geography and polity,as well as the influence of other factors,the features of Changsha Dialect have a tendency of closing up to the Mandarin,which is a representation of the New Xiang Dialect.Because of the frequent interactions between Changsha Dialect,Mandarin Dialect and Mandarin,they are influenced by each other inevitably.This paper indicates that Changsha Dialect not only maintains the features of Xiang Dialect,but also has a tendency to close up to the Mandarin,which represents the characters of transitional dialects.
