Abstract
The content of isoflavones in red clover were determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The results showed that genotypes had significant effect on isoflavones content, among 4 tested materials, new line R-1 had the highest content, followed by Ruide,Minsan and Duoli.Genotype also affected mono isoflavones significantly,Daidzein was the most affected, and formononetin thorn was the least.Red clover plant could accumulate the most formononetin thorn, followed by biochanin A and genistein, daidzein was the least accumulated.
