Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of small incision extracapsular cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation.Methods 53 age-related cataract(60 eyes) undergoing small incision extracapsular cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation were analyzed.Results The visual acuity was 0.5 or better in 48(80.0%),52(86.7%) and 55(91.7%) eyes at 1 day,1 week and 3 month.Conclusion The small incision extracapsular cataract extraction with intraocular lens implantation is effective and easy,could be applied in rural areas.
