Study on Interactivity between Economic and Logistics Development in Jiangsu

In this paper,by selecting the time-series data of GDP and freight turnover and studying empirically the relationship between the two,we reached the following conclusions: first the economic development of Jiangsu had a Granger causal relationship with the logistics industry;second,there existed certain quantitative relationship between the economic development and logistics industry of Jiangsu;and third,the economic structure of Jiangsu and that of its logistics industry influenced and restricted each other.Finally we proposed the policy suggestions for the collaborative development of the two in Jiangsu.
