Abstract

Many measures to innovate the organizational system have been taken by the state-owned commercial banks from the end of the last century.These measures,however are somewhat in disorder because of the lack of a clear objective. This article analyzes the flaw of the linear-function organizational structure of the state-owned commercial banks and the situation of the innovation . The matrix organizational structure and the dumbbell model are pointed out through the analysis of the modern corporation theory and the experience of foreign commercial banks. At last ,it points out that the matrix organizational structure and the dumbbell model are the objective of the innovation of the bank's organizational structure.
