Abstract
Objective:To study the relationship of multiple human papillomavirus(HPV) infections in cervical lesion.Methods:The HPV-DNA typing test was performed in 3 155 women,of which 537positive cases underwent colposcopy and pathological examination of cervical biopsy.Results:HPV-DNA typing test showed single HPV infection was 12.80%,and multiple HPV infection was 4.20%.The most common model was double infection.The multiple infection rates increased with the severity of cervical dysplasia(except for cervicitis).Conclusion:Multiple HPV infection is associated with the development of cervical neoplasia.HPV infections testing in etio-logical diagnosis of cervical diseases should be applicated widely.
