Ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy in non-palpable breast lesions

Objective To evaluate the clinical significance of ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy in diagnosis of non-palpable breast lesions.Methods 216 breast lesions in 197 patients were punctured using core needle biopsy device under ultrasound guidance.178 with sigle lesion and 19 with more than 2 lesions.Results 29 malignants and 187 benign lesions were found.All patients were followed up for 12 months,only 1 patient with breast carcinoma was misdignosis.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided core needle biopsy is suitable in diagnosis of non-palpable breast lesions,with safe,effective and accurate location.
