Construct Harmonious Society Mechanism Centering around Making Overall Plans for Rural and Urban Development

The present stage is crucial to China's economic and social development;however,problems still remain,especially the protruding imbalance between the development of rural and urban areas.On the basis of analyzing the status quo and causing factors of the gap,the paper points out the importance of system building and argues that making overall plans for rural and urban development is the key to constructing harmonious society mechanism.It finally proposes the measures to be taken to narrow the gap.
