Abstract
HDPE/wood flour composites were prepared with HDPE-g-MAH as compatibilizer by a twin-screw extruder,the best content of HDPE-g-MAH was ensured through the characterization of mechanical properties and microcosmic structure.Then different wood plastic composites were prepared by single-screw extruder,two-roll mill and banbury mill.The results showed that HDPE-g-MAH had a positive effect on the interfacial compatibilization and increased the mechanical properties of the HDPE/wood flour composites and dispersing effect of wood flour.When the content of HDPE-g-MAH was 5%,the wood plastic composites had the excellent properties made by a twin-screw extruder with high shear effect.
