Abstract
After analyzing the development situation and international experience about Chinese manufacturing industry, the paper pointed out: the hollow state of Chinese manufacturing industry should by avoided during its transformation and upgrading process; the strategic target should focused on extending to high end of value chain rather than transfer; main transfer direction of manufacturing industry was domestic market rather than foreign market; enterprise manufacturing chain would evolve to manufacturing and innovation chain. In addition, the paper suggested the strategic planning about industry transfer should be constituted and the policy reform for maintaining the comparative advantage of manufacturing industry should be paid attention to continuously.
