Developing New Strategic Industries: Equal Emphasis on Manufacturing Sector and Service Sector

In order to develop new strategic industries,China should firstly develop the advanced manufacturing industry before the development of the modern service industry.At present,China is still under the development of industrialization,in particular,in the process of industrial modernization.In the international division of industries,China’s manufacturing industry is still basically at the middle-and-lower end;in addition,the development of the manufacturing sector will help promote China’s urbanization process.These three facts decide that China still has to insist on continuous development of manufacturing industry.As for the relationship between manufacturing industry and service industry,on one hand,to develop manufacturing industry,especially the advanced manufacturing industry,can promote the service-oriented function of the manufacturing enterprises,promote the service outsourcing of the manufacturing industry,and speed up the development of supply chain management,so as to promote the development of modern service industry.On the other hand,the competitiveness of both the manufacturing products and the manufacturing enterprises need service industry to support and enhance them.
