Survey on a Epidemic Situation of Type A H_1N_1 Influenga Outbreak in a University Student Military Training Base

Objective Through the survey of type A H1N1 influenza pandemic outbreak in a college students'training base,to explore the risk factors of type A-H1N1 influemza outbreak,to provide scientific basis for H1N1 influenza pandemic control and prevention in schools in the future.Methods Using uniform questionnaire to investigate the case,and analyze the epidemic epidemiological characteristics.Results There were 59 diagnosed H1N1 influenza pandemic patients between 24 Oct 2009 and 30 Oct 2009,the incidence rate was 1.90% and age group was 16-23 years old.Among these patients,there were 50 boys,the incidence rate was 2.08%;and 9 girls,the incidence rate was 1.27%.Gender ratio was 5.5:61.There are 58 students and 1 teacher.These 59 patients are distributed in 14 company including 42 classes.Major clinical manifestations were fever,cough and throat ache.None of the trained persons got vaccination of H1N1 influenza vaccine.Conclusion Patients were not isolated timely is the major risk factors for the H1N1 influenza pandemic outbreak.It is the key strategy for prerenting peidemic ourbreak to strengthen the management of sources of infection,medical observation for close contact,timely vaccination.
