Abstract

Through a repeated measurement of lead in tobacco products by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry(GFAAS),the mathematic model of uncertainty evaluation was established, and the each portion of the uncertainty was systematically analyzed and estimated. The main sources of the uncertainty in the measurement process included the uncertainty component of sample quality measurement, the uncertainty component of sample moisture measurement, the uncertainty component of sample solution volume, the uncertainty component of sample concentration measurement and the uncertainty component of sample repetitive measurement, and were analyzed. When the average content of lead was 2.8177μg/g,and its expanded uncertainty was evaluated as 0.1994μg/g.
