Abstract

Autonomous learning refers to the capability to control all aspects of one's learning,including self-planning、self-direction、self-regulation、self-monitoring to self-evaluation.Learners' autonomy is increasingly taken as the goal of foreign language teaching.The paper analyzes the definition of autonomy、listed the current problems with learners' autonomy and proposed several suggestions on developing learners' autonomy in college English Teaching.
