Abstract

As the founder of new Chinese agriculture modernization, Mao made a direction for Chinese agriculture modernization based on Chinese conditions, and explained basic issues and preliminary scheme strategies of agriculture modernization, making huge contribution to theory of agriculture modernization.These pioneering theory achievements not only played an important role in history, but also have significance for us to carry out the Twelfth Five-Plan which involves developing modern agriculture and Chinese characteristic agriculture.
